To initiate the web stream, SIMPLY CLICK HERE.
QuickTime 7.6.4 MUST be installed to be make the stream work.
You can download it at Apple.com/QuickTime
Please give the stream up to 2 minutes to load (initially).
If your web browser asks you what application to open the stream within,
please choose QUICKTIME PLAYER.
If you would like to access our web stream from your desktop,
In Safari: Choose SAVE LINKED FILE AS and
save the file to your Desktop. DO NOT append the
txt extension when it prompts you.
In Firefox: Choose SAVE LINK AS and
save the betv.sdp file to your Desktop.
After the file is downloaded, you are in good shape.
Anytime you wish to watch Channel 28 and you are hooked
up to the internet, double-click on betv.sdp file that should be
on your desktop! Away you go!
If you are on a PC and having trouble making the stream play, you may need to update the Quicktime Preferences before starting the stream:
1. Open QuickTime Player.
2. Click on the EDIT menu and choose PREFERENCES - then QUICKTIME PREFERENCES.
3. Click on the ADVANCED tab.
4. Check the empty box next to RTSP Proxy Server.
5. In the white bar next to ADDRESS (below RTSP Proxy),
type in the following numbers exactly as they appear: 206.110.32.30
6. Click AUTOMATIC next to TRANSPORT SETTINGS and choose CUSTOM.
7. Click on UDP and change to HTTP. Click OK.
8. Click APPLY. Then click OK.
9. Go back to betv.org and try our streaming link again.
It should work this time! Remember, it is NOT instanteous the first time you load the stream. Be patient.
